Filament winding process and phenolic resin for maximum fiberglass duct strength.  One of the advantages of phenolic resin is its excellent acid resistance which is a result of the acid cure process.  Because phenolic resin is water-based and polyester is oil-based, phenolic resin is inherently flame resistant, and no fire inhibitors and added.  These inhibitors detract from the strength of the polyester resins making them more brittle.

Exceeds safety standards Meets all Mine Safety Health Administration (MSHA) flame test requirements for face ventilation ducting and is built to the same standards for antistatic requirements as our British and Canadian sister companies.  Schauenburg duct meets all UL181, NFPA 90A, NFPA 90B standards with sealed connectors.
